American Animation Director and Writer

I probably already mentioned that I’m a storyteller. And what a grand thing that is – in the big scheme of jobs (or life passions), that is.

I’ve always loved art and drawing, telling stories and creating things. And it’s led me down an amazing path.

Right now, I’m working on a bunch of different projects, including writing a memoir and writing and illustrating a children’s book. I’m also traveling a fair amount and speaking at conferences, universities and other events, participating in panels, doing interviews and appearing on talk shows. Oh my!

I’m passionate about the film and animation industries, about women in film and in tech, about learning and mentoring young people and about featuring and supporting people who are doing good. Good work, good deeds, good ideas — I like them all!

Along the way, I’m meeting some amazing and amazingly talented people. What I’m learning is that right now, I’m off on a new adventure and in the midst of writing my own story. As exciting as it is to relive the highlights of the past, I’m even more excited to see what the future holds.

I’ve also been experimenting with Tumblr and posting things that interest me there, consuming a lot of wonderful new stuff, and learning a lot about this whole crazy digital world along the way. If you’re on Tumblr, feel free to ping me there!

And now that you’re here, you can be a part of the journey! At least, I hope you’ll be.
